A 2 hours drive to Phnom Kulen, the most sacred mountain in Cambodia. It was the first capital of the Angkorian civilization, after the coronation of King Jayavarman II in 802. Its Holy status endures to this day. In 1993 it became a National Park. Upon arrival on the mountain plateau, we will hike through the relatively thick jungle (for approximately 40 minutes) on the quest of ancient remnants and an ancient kiln site…

The Hidden Litchi Mountain Temples of ‘Phnom Kulen’

“Airavata” the king god of Elephants and four Lions larger than life! When walking back down, we will stop at the waterfalls to enjoy a picnic lunch and a refreshing bath under the falling water!
