Magically concealed and perched on the Dângrêk hilltop 525 m above the Thai and Khmer jungle plain, it offers a breathtaking panoramic view.

Start off in the morning (8h/9h) for an adventurous Quad journey to the remote and secluded Bantey Ampeul temple.
You will steer through rural communities, pagodas, small schools and ever waving children, rice fields and dirt roads; the authentic Cambodian countryside, not so far from bustling Siem Reap.
You will witness true glimpses of the “real” Cambodia, with little chances of seeing a “barang”… On the last 20 minutes you will go through the forest to finally reach the temple. Once on site, maybe stretch your legs take a stroll, and have a break enjoying a picnic lunch in this very private place.

At 8h00 or at 14h00, start out with your All Terrain Vehicle to get an insight of the authentic Cambodian countryside. From lush wide open spaces to distant villages and their grinning inhabitants, good memories in prospect.
Outstand- ing scenery on the way to Prei Monti, one of the temples built by the king Jayavarman II who initially established the capital in this area. Enjoy a break in the shade around this 9th century brick temple.
